It's not a thought, knee injuries are much more traumatic and frequent now in current players than say 10 years ago (this from the surgeon who did my heel and was recently in the States training on a new knee op). But the data from players show that they are faster in todays generation of skates so yes, the manufacturers aren't ever going back. Speed rules, as long as you can survive......

Wow I wasn't off on one of my tangents.  Maybe these VH skates will be able to mix the two.  They seem to be less cast like

Yeah that dude Chris made it sound like shrink wrap.  Stumbled on a Checkloslovocian skate brand was Botas 255 Euro   the skate looked like it was made well .

No opinion on the skate but Czechoslovakia hasn’t existed for 25 years now.
