CCM 70K White Skates

I just wondered if anyone knew why CCM had decided to drop the white version of the white K/Ribcor line? As far as I am aware they have done a white version dating back years back to the old reebok 11K and up until the CCM 50K which I currently wear. Now that I am looking to get the 70K, I have been informed this will not be a general release and would be looking to have to go the custom route for this skate with a price tag of around £800. The white version still seems popular with players like Matt Duchene, Carl Hagelin and John Klingberg in the NHL and across the European leagues so just wondered if anyone knew why it was dropped or if it is likely to return?

I'm a fan of the white skates as well. Luckily my RBZs match my current team's colors.

Those would fit me, but the price is too rich for my blood.
