shoot_the_goalie 281 Report post Posted February 4, 2020 Seems like the screw bolt on the steel would make this problematic? Or can the bolt be taken off easily?

Bolt comes out easy. I use a small press to pop it out but you can also do it with a rubber mallet and a screw driver. Just give it a swift tap and it pops right out. JR Boucicaut 3801 Report post Posted February 4, 2020 But you don’t have to take out the bolt. It’s not interfering with anything.

Sorry, Should have probably been more clear. I'm trying to use the True 1st gen Step steel with my Sparx using the Sparx blade holder. Am I missing something, because I can't see how to get the steel to seat into the holder if the bolt is in place? I can see how, if it was in say a Tri-Lie holder, it wouldn't be an issue... but not sure how to get it to work with the Sparx holder.
