XF PRO baking instructions

Recommended Posts

Can someone help me out who has the heating instructions for the XF PROS, I bought a second hand pair that haven't been baked & the box didn't have the instructions with them.

The out of box fit is pinching the sides in-between the heel & forefoot & I am hoping a bake will open them up a touch there.

Also is that lower side portion of the boot formable or am I wasting me time for those who have experience with this particular boot.

Use a heat gun on those problem areas with them laced up. That targets the area better.  Baking instructions for skates are meant for skate ovens and not home ovens. If you aren't familiar with baking at home I'd suggest looking online for videos regarding that.

I don’t have the exact factory sheet handy, but XF PROs are definitely heat-moldable and a bake usually helps with that midfoot pinch you’re describing. The lower sidewalls will move a bit with heat, though don’t expect miracles — it’s more of a subtle relief than a full width change. I’d recommend a proper skate oven if possible and making sure to lace snug (not overly tight) while they cool. A second bake can help too if the first one doesn’t fully solve it.
