Response + or XN10

Recommended Posts

I have the Response + and like it. If you get it in the right curve and flex it will really perform well for you. I believe the blades are the same so I would choose on factors based on available curves and flexes and possibly shaft texture and weight.

I heard they actually perform about the same. The xn10 is lighter, but its not very noticable.

But if I were you Id get an xn10, because I know there were some stores on the net where you could get them for like $120 or somewhere in that ballpark.

if i had the choice, i think i'd go with the response plus. it just seems more balanced, since they both have the same blade, but the response +'s shaft is heavier so it balances it out better.

Well I'll jump in on here since nobody directly answered your question. The response xn10 has the xn10 carbon shaft while the response + has the graphite/aramid shaft. Both shafts share the same pre-preg composite blade. I too think that the R+ is more balanced though because of the slightly heavier shaft. IMO, I think the xn10's shaft is too light for its blade and thus makes it a little bit blade heavy.

I feel the same about the balance of the R+

You can't go wrong with either of these OPS's. I have the XN10 and the pattern I'm using doesn't feel blade heavy at all to me .

The response xn10 has the xn10 carbon shaft while the response + has the graphite/aramid shaft.

On the website, tpshockey.com, it says that the XN10 and the response + shafts are both made of aramid/graphite.
