Good deal on Hespeler blades

I just noticed on the sportmart.ca website that they have the hespeler "F4/Pyro/dunno what it's called" graphite blade on sale for $15 cdn. To further add to the deal all their blades are buy one get one free so 2 graphite blades for $15 + taxes is a pretty good deal. I managed to pick some up from in store and they are not the ones pictured on the website but are in fact Smyth curved composite blades found in this thread

I don't see any more right handed patterns but i ordered a few I'll post pictures when I pick them up from the courier place

are the blades tapered? i might have to go pick up a few, does the smyth have any loft? it was a small curve with a bit of a toe opening from what i remember

I just went to the Sportmart (Richmond) and they didn't have those blades, I told them I saw them on their website and they asked me to show them on there store computer, it wasn't listed. <_< I know I saw them on the site it's pretty weird.

They don't have them at their Broadway location (Vancouver) either.

How did you not find it, i just searched now, and there are only 3 products listed under the Hockey Shop, and the blade was the first one.

hmm, its even tapered, i may go check it out. thanks for the heads up. where does it talk about the buy 1 get 1 free deal, that sounds too good to be true.

hey guys i work at sport mart here in calgary, we have hespeler blades like that, but they dont say pyro on the back. its just all black with smyth on it. they are 14.99, its not buy one get one free, that was like 2 weeks ago. they are buy one get one half off though.

we dont carry alphas blades. just the ops.

I didnt find it b/c there computer had a different version of their site up, there was alotta old stock stuff, definately not the same as the one the public sees.

Half the stuff on Sportmart's sites aren't available in stock. I've know from many times of looking at stuff I want to buy online, then I check their inventory for the store. I arrive at the store and the employees don't even know what I'm trying to look for.

Haven't got my blades yet picked up 2 LCD displays from purolater instead but the deal for buy one get one free is only on the website. just add two blades to your cart and view it. It'll show a coupon for 1 free. Also I was at Port Coquitlam today and they had 4 Smyth blades (left curve) left. These will not fit a tapered shaft but they're short hosel.
