Kirsch 1 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 I worked went to school and worked. 7AM to 8PM. I don't have a girlfriend or any special someone to give roses to, so it was pretty much a normal day. For work I went around to restaurants and snapped some photos of couples enjoying the evening (I work for a newspaper) Other than that nadda.

devilsfan26 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 Although we've only been together for 8 days so far, my girlfriend and I had a great day. They were running a thing in school last week where you could buy a carnation for someone, and then they get it during homeroom on Valentine's Day, so of course I did that and she was happy B) . After school I had frickin jazz band practice, so I didn't get home until 5. We had a reservation for a nice Italian restaurant at 7:30, so when I picked her up I gave her my gift. I gave her a rose, a box of chocolates, and a teddy bear. She liked the card the most, she said it was "the best thing i've ever gotten from anyone ever", and it made her cry. I suppose she liked what I wrote. :D She got me some Reese's peanut butter cups and Hershey's Kisses, a stuffed dog, and a heart-shaped box of these little paper star things she made. When we got to the restaurant, we realized that the only things we could understand on the menu were pizza, soda, and beer  . We're not old enough to drink, so we didn't get beer. :P When we got out of there, I gave her a white gold necklace. She seemed to really like it, and she hugged and kissed me. It was her first kiss, as well as mine. The only thing that went slightly wrong was that I asked her to the prom, but she said she has to see if it's okay with her dad and she doesn't know if he's going to let her go (I'm a senior, she's a sophomore). :( Overall, however, we had an amazing day. We've only been going out for a little over a week, but it feels like years. :)

Chadd 916 Report post Posted February 16, 2005 On my way to work I dropped off a dozen and a half roses in my wife's car so she would find them on her lunch hour. Then I called her and asked her to check the trunk for some hockey gear I thought I left in there. She told me she had already been in the trunk and didn't see anything. I tried politely to encourage her to look again. Then I finally asked her just to check when she had time. When I got home from closing up the shop at 9:45 I got the flowers out of her car and told her to stop being so god-damned stubborn.
