sikocycles 1 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 I skated in XXX for 2 months and now I am skating in 8090s and have to say I should have done this sooner. They fit nice and skate real good

hockeyRam 0 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 If the fit doesn't matter, the 8090.Why the 8090? The XXX's are much lighter.
JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted February 23, 2005 Because the skates fit differently?Fit is more important than weight.
Edge 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2005 take an 8090 and an XXX in the same size and compare the weight. I guarentee there isn't a very noticable difference in weight anyways. Plus the XXX steel is perferated. If you think about it, the XXX is an 8090 in a vapor fit and look. They used the 8090 outsole and liner which are the XXXs top new features in my opinion(haven't had much experience with the LS2 holder/steel)
