Protoe on XX

should i put protoe on my vapor XX? i've put it on all my other skates but havent had anything with that kind of cap..most of the members on here are probably familar with the XX so you know what kind of toecap im talking about.

Its a protective covering for nylon skate toe caps, but alot of people put it on the toe or blade of there stick to help prevent against chipping.

The coating on Vapor XX (and 8090) toes is decent, but it will get beat up over time. Probably wouldn't hurt to paint 'em...

If I'm not too late, I would suggest it because I do that on all of the nylon toe cap skates that I have had. It worked fine on my XX's and the toe cap was better than it would have ended up if I hadn't

I'd like to know why bauer still bothers with nylon caps. Exposed plastic ones are quite proven at this point.

That Bauer toe is so old school and the skates look like crap in a few weeks after purchase. CCM's and mission have it together.

i think the nylon to caps look better than just plastic. that just my opinion though

the plastic bangs up pretty bad. but the nylon does aswell, but pro-toe helps alot.
