Hello!!

Is the CCM Vector pro fit comparable with the fit of CCM Pro Tacks both in size and width??

Is the Bauer 8090 comparable with the fit of Vapor XX or more like Supreme 8000 in size and width?

The 8090 is supposed to be neither like the XX nor like the 8000. The shape of the 8090 is completely different from the other ones: among other differences, the 8090 are much wider.

As for the CCMs the size should be the same (although you never know unless you try on both), but the Vectors might be a tad wider than the Tacks.

not saying you guys are wrong, because I found that the vectros are a narrow'er fit than the xx52 line, but, our rep told us that the vector pro is the widest boot they have ever made. Seems like BS to me, but, the Vector Pro is the only CCM that has ever fit my foot correctly. I know for certain it is wider than the Externo.

i know the vectors are based on the externos fit and everything but i found that externos were wider than vector pros.

I can almost bet that the Vectors and the Externos were built on the same last (since they are being built at the same factory). This means the overall fit of the boot is similar. However, the internals of the boot are completely different. There are many more pieces on a Vector verse a Externo...

Exactly. It is the same last, and the same last as the old Koho 3380 skate.

I use externo's for ice and 1052's for inline. The externos definately run narrower that the tacks. I use a d width for the tacks, but needed the EE for the externos, i definately love the way the externos fit me though. Assuming the vectors fit similar to the externos, this may be helpful to you.

The 8090 is really wide. I need EE's in vapor xx's, and when I tried on the 8090's, I just needed a D.
