D vs EE Width's

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at buying a pair of Bauer X90 rollerblades online that are size 7EE. I have previously worn a pair of Bauer 4000' size 7.5D. I asked a guy at my lhs, and he said the fit would be pretty similar. I'm also looking at a pair of in-line Hi- Ho Silver's that are size 7EE. I wore a pair of V12's two years ago in size 7.5D as well. Would either of these in-line skates mentioned fit me well? Thoughts?

Not even close. A "D" width is two width sizes narrower than a "EE."

Plus, with some companies, your "EE" width will come with a "B" width heel instead of an "A".

I should have given a better hint at my sarcasm :D Basically if you don't need a EE, your foot is going to be moving side to side in the skate.
