Nike Air Ignite 1 Skates

Recommended Posts

I might be able to get a pair of Pro Stock Nike Ignite 1s. Does anyone know anything about these skates. I seem to recall NBH putting these out around the same time as the original Vapor 10s so I assume that they were Nike's top-of-the-line skate (at that time). Any help/feedbakc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

They were Nike's top end skate before the Quest line was offered. They're a fairly slim fitting skate and were quite stiff as I recall. They also came with the black perf-steel blades like the Vapor 10s. I'm talking about the retail models of course so I doubt the pro stocks will come with the perf-steel. The pros might also be even stiffer as well. I say go for it if they're cheap, fit your foot well, and you prefer a stiff boot.

I believe www.the-sports-exchange.com has them in a full run of sizes (almost)

about 200USD I believe.

Give'em a call or check out the website.

I've had my PS Nike Ignite 1's for almost 3yrs now and they are a really good skate. They are much stiffer than the retail model because I returned a pair of retail Ignite 1's when I found a pair of ProStock's in my size. They don't come with the perforated black runner, just the Tuuk Custom + with stainless steel. Overall, a very good skate that has remained very stiff all through the boot.

I switch back and forth between my Nikes and my Vapor XX's with no problem, just took some time to get used to.

I had a pair a few yrs ago. I liked them alot except that they were a bit too big. I sold them when the perf steel cracked. I was looking for another pair (smaller) when I got my Missions.
