Roller pants.

Recommended Posts

Heres one for you experts,

Ive been playing roller for 3 years now, and Ive never worn a pair of roller pants. I was wondering, do you think it would fit over my knee brace, its a rather big one(don joy). I need to know because I have to buy these online as no wear near me sells anything roller other then a few bottom of the line skates.

Depending on how big you are, you can go to www.redmtnsports.com, and pick up mission injection pants for 31.98. They only have L and XL, but that price for 70.00 pants isn't bad at all, and they run baggy

I have the 2004 Mission D2 Roller Hockey Pants in medium, and I can fit pretty big shin guards underneath the pants, plus there is still alittle room, and this is near the knee cap area. In respect to the 2005 Mission Helium 950 Roller Hockey Pants, it suppose to stretch near the thigh area, so if you have a knee brace it should be okay.

I can tell you one thing, the Nike Roller Hockey Pants are alot narrower.

I just got a pair of Syven 301 Pants and they seem very wide at the knees. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative and still want a quality pair of pants, look at the Syvens.

How do you get your shinpad on over your kneebrace? Do you wear something special for that?   Do you wear kneepads?

I just wear some jofas with low pading, the pad fits, well not really, my leg looks huge and the pad is crooked over my leg. But it works.

There has actually been a company ( wanna say Bauer, but I'm not for sure) that built a shin guard with a hinged knee pad that supports your knees pretty well. Guy that plays leagues where I'm at has them for his bad knees.
