And remember than Pat was a cop before he started coaching with the Hull Olympique back in the day's, and if I remember he had heart troubles a while ago, like when he was with the Habs or Leafs.

RDS just broke out that he has cancer, he missed a few pratices this week because he already started his treatments.

Nope, nothing saying what type of cancer yet, they will probably announce it during the conference today, RDS probably got the scoop since he has mostly been living in the Montreal/Ottawa region and they have good connections with him.

EDIT: He has colon cancer, they just showed it on the TSN site on the top right where it's marked Breaking News.

I didn't realize his past illnesses were different cancers...I thought the same thing came back after he fought it the first time.

I'm pretty sure it was the same cancer, just metastasized to different places (originally colon, then spread to liver and now lung).

I wish him the best - great guy and a great coach.
