Black Beauty sticks/ blades

When searching use a "+" between words and/or search tthe titles only. It seems to reduce the number of items returned. Also removing common words like black and only searching on the "abnormal" words like beauty alone seem to help.

Thanks for the searching tip chadd... I've been trying to figure out how to search for things with more than one word! But it brings up all the treads with "helmet" and "hefter" for example, leaving me a ton more desired results. You might want to place this in some help file somewhere. Then again, I probally didn't read it :P

I added it to the "help" section at the top. We need to revamp that over the summer.

Well the search mode did not turn too much up, so I thought I would ask.

Anyone have/ tried/ seen Black Beauty sticks/ shafts? The prices are in line with the market for an upstart company. I am up for something new, but would have to order sight unseen. Anyone?

The core product is no different than the GEAR products HockeyGiant sells.

I went to their office in Clawson on Thursday. Richard gave me a rundown of how they got set up and their products and whatnot. Used the lie detector on me and no surprise, a 5. They use a solid foam core - no I-beam - so it'll be interesting to see how it holds up. The blades do look very well-made, and solid to boot. Shafts are solid - constant flex, no kickpoint - I got a 90, it might be a little stiff.

Al Iafrate showed up a few minutes after that. It was hilarious. I shook about 1/4 of his hand, he walked away, then started putting golf balls from one taped square on the carpet to another and just did his own thing.

I don't know what I had said, but he came over and we had a very good conversation. Looks like all of my theories about composite sticks vs wood were valid - he said that comp sticks give more pop for those who don't have it, but when you do, the difference is minimal. Then he was like "I have a theory on wood sticks..." which was exactly the one I had about how wood sticks lag vs comp sticks. So to have a guy like that confirm your theories, it's pretty cool.

They were very interested in MSH and what we offer.

I'll try out the stick, it's really not bad at all, it looks very well-made. Will let you guys know what the deal is when I use it on the ice.
