Well what do you know. Thanks for the info on wissotas site. I had set my machine up (bought used) based on blackstones reccomendations. It seems that the clamp part of the holder might have been tweaked a little. Whe I set it up with a square like wissota says the holder was off. I fixed it and ran a pair of skates through and it was on the money. The blades checked out square and I had a good edge all the way. I hope thats the issue. I will do my regular skates tomorow. Thanks for the the heads up

Yeah tell me about it, it's either mission or Bauer and you decide which arm or leg. I pretty much get everything from IW and ebay now.

I dropped a jersey off earlier this week for lettering at a place I've had a few jerseys done before. I had the jersey already and bought the letter kit online. They usually charge me $20-25 to sew/press it on. Got a call from her this morning. Thought she was calling to say it was ready. Sadly, no. Apparently, the heat press over heated and burned through the back of my jersey. They are replacing everything, so it will be a very expensive mistake for them...but another week to get it done now. Not really a vent, just sharing a hockey related story. haha

I hope my wife never sees this....

Picking up my Utica Comets season tickets today! Also yesterday it was confirmed that we are getting the AHL All Star game in January. Could not be more excited for hockey season this year!

Sorry to hear about the dog, MThockeydad...... Losing a dog is always tough....
