Better protection for lets say shot blocking on the lower hand?
-
Hand made right here in QC, maybe that the reason!
your 'hand made gloves' kinda look cheap without any stitching to me.
this looks much better

The tacklas are amazing, for me at least, i got them at an amazing price, if you want pm me ill tell you where to get them for a fraction of what youve ever paid for gloves (dont be fooled, very well made, plastic inserts, two layer palm). Those are 85s but its the same fit as the rs as it is almost the same glove. very good range of motion in the upper glove.

Some of my gloves that ive had in the last months:
Elbow pads that ive sent in Russia, for my team and that ive sold:
Bonus
Leftover equipement on display at the old Mont-Royal arena which is now a grossery store, i guess the equipement is 50-60 years old or more.

lol do these actually have some sort of pockets?Reebok (Euro) Pro pants
-
^Maybe Winnipeg and/or their AHL affiliate St Johns?
i hope it is so and not Nashville or Florida lol. i looked and the color seem the same of quite a few teams. oh well i guess ill never know but nonetheless they are wicked, never seen so much protection on a pair of gloves, the wrists go up pretty high too with really thick padding

no idea what an sty2 is. as far as i know the ccm hg852 are sometimes branded as reeboks, not the other way around. i dont see why these would be reeboks. the inside tags say ccm too

I got this cool pair of pro stock ccm 852's. does anyone know from what team these are?

my diablo arrived, freaking long and extremely whippy stick, my 11k is cut one inch at 57 inches and feels stiffer than the diablo at same height cut 6 inches, i dont think cutting the diablo 6 inches affected the flex to be honest. the stick is slightly blade heavy without tape, with tape is a bit annoying compared to the well balanced 11k , well see once on the ice
p40 and gionta curve

a guy i know is friend with Perron, he got him a couple of t100 of his. I tried it and man that is a long and thin blade, imposible to stickhandle or shoot with that thing for me

Thats odd , hes the face of easton and they cant provide him two helmets?

Got a pair of s17 on closeout on hockeyworld. I forgot how well the se16 and s17 fit me and what it feels like not to have pain on your feet. Didnt bake them, no pain anywhere whatsoever.
The only beef i have with them is my left forefoot is a bit loose because they tend to be on the wide side, and the skate just gets soaking wet inside, really a lot. My se16 whites were not like that because of the leather like interior i guess. I dont think its right for a what use to be a 700$ skate but ill live with it any day with the comfort they offer me.
Gonna have to adress those issues somehow, any insight in appeciatated.

Part of that is that I think a lot of people don't really know what a skate that 'fits' is supposed to feel like. From my personal experience, I would put on the skate that was 1.5-2 sizes down from my shoe, and there'd be too much space in the toecap, and my heel wasn't really locked in, but I'd never had a properly fitted skate so I didn't really know the difference. They didn't hurt my feet, and they were the 'right' size based on my shoe size, so I figured they were fine.
A few years ago I was shopping for my first pair of top-end skates, so I decided that if I was going to spend that kind of money, I was going to make sure I took the time to try on a lot of different models and sizes, and seek out the best possible fit; and I was surprised to find out how badly my old skates fit. I wear size 11 shoes and have fairly normal (maybe a tad on the deep/wide side) feet, and the first time I was fitted properly for a pair of skates, my skate size changed from a 9.5D to a 7-7.5EE in most of the skates I tried on, until I eventually settled on 6.5EE One95's that fit absolutely perfectly after baking. I had never really been fitted by someone who knew what they were doing before, or bothered to try on smaller sizes than reccomended, so I didn't really know that what I needed wasn't a bigger size, but the EE width, and a skate with a fit designed to fit my foot volume-wise.
i do not see how it is possible to have normal feet and wear 11 shoes and 6.5 skates. what i think is that most of you people that claim a shoe size that is not realistic, or really really loose. i like my shoes fit, not tight but not loose either. 11 to 6.5? sorry wont bite that.
-
Well in that case i must agree if you really have a messed foot shape. But for most people with normal feet skates should not fit 3-4 sizes down, i know a buddy that work at a decent pro shop and going down 3-4 in skates is yet to be seen, but i guess rare cases exist

Just going to go out on a limb here from past experiences. Nike shoes tend to run small. I wear a 10 in just about every brand besides Nike where I'm at least a 10.5 and have even been an 11 in one case for the Dunk SB's.
Note that I wear size 8.5 Bauer skates, so though not 3 shoe sizes different, they are pretty close.
Well why dont we just compare what your shoe size would be in most shoes and sneakers. Instead of comparIng with nike that are made small or adidas that are made big and so on and sO on
I can't speak for sellout but I wear a 9.5 Sneaker and wear a size 5.5 skate. The difference between what size a skate and sneaker are irrelevant as whatever fits best is whats key. I like the way my feet feel in 9,5 sneakers and they don't fall off when I walk or float. In a 5.5 ccm skate my feet fit perfect. Can't explain it but that's how it works.
That doesnt make any sense and i must disagree but it is impossible, unless where you live shoe sizing is different than north america

I wear size 9 Nike sneakers comfortably, wore 9D mission flyweights that were super old and apparently too big for me. When those broke I tried on size 6.5D vapor X60s and toe was just brushing the end cap as per a good fit, but when I went to the APX i found there to be a bit more room. These are size 6D and 6 1/8thD and feet fit just fine. Little tight on one foot but after a rebake and 2 long sessions the pain is going away.
how in the h you can you wear 3 sizes down from your sneakers? are your shoes floating on your feet? i wear shoe size 9-9.5us and 7.5-8d skate size fits me just fine, anything under that i am cramped in front.
i understand 1.5-2sizes down in skates from your shoes if oyu like a tight fit, but 3 sizes down something is off

where did you get them?
asr on pie ix, last pair, they had also eastons tongues and generic ones. i might take them off thought i find them kind of stiff and premolded for a flop (thing that i hate. they dont sit as perfect as i want to be, they scream to be flopped). ill sell to you if you want them.

That or vapor 10 , not sure myself. But theyre great and made in canada

I'm not sure about other places but did you get them from Total Hockey? I think they have them for around $130 if I remember correctly.
150$ shipped to my door. keep in mind that most american retailers like total hockey, hockeymonkey do not ship bauer and rbk to canada, and if they did, we would get raped with customs.
here is where i bought them http://myworld.ebay....sid=p4340.l2559

brand new apx skates and an 808 p40 75flex. the 808 is an amazing stick so much pop to it. i bought two 808 p36, my usual curve, and my shot was just crazy high and fast. the p40 looks a lot less open than on the pics and keeps my shot low but as strong. lie 5, amazing curve that makes even stone hands like mine work a bit better.
now i am stuck my old skates and sticks for sale usual trying to get some of money back
