What's the deal with the "spinner"? No/ different dressing? It does not look as sturdy as the portable "Classic" that I have. btw- Unless they made some changes, that "Bat Gauge" is a POS.

Got here a bit late (sorry). I don't think a person will EVER regret a tattoo with personal meaning regardless of what it is. As far as (my) kids being embarrassed by a parents tattoo(s).... I guarantee that kids will be embarrassed by their parents LONG before their dad's shirt comes off. I got this after the birth of my daughter in 2000. Pict is a bit washed looking. The blue is my son's foot and the pink my daughter's. I had them transposed from their birth certificates respectively. 7 years later, I am happier about it than the day I got it. I figure if one of us is really good and the other one sucks, the good one might as well get the higher end gear.

I am in Michigan. Everyone will sharpen "while you wait". If you go to a bigger shop, it could be a while depending on what's on the bench at the time. I an VERY lucky and go to a guy that sharpens skates as a side business (he is a contractor by day) and was trained by the Red Wings equipment manager. He will sharpen while you wait. He has an indoor shooting range too. Radars and everything! The ONLY guy I will have touch my skates anymore besides JR. The wierd thing is is that they sharpen identically!! When will they start calling the Tkachuk a 3/8 mid-heel? 1/2 heel is a bit misleading.

That's not where I was going with this. My gear (including skates) get hung up to dry on a rack after EVERY use. When you skate a second time before your skates dry is ALL I was talking about.
