Here are a few pictures from my outdoor league's All Star game we played at Soldier Field. What an awesome experience!

Haha. I wasn't even in the paint. I won't lie I did cut hard towards the net, but he dove out pretty far.

Here are some pics of me sporting our new away sweaters. The last 2 are a sequence of events of me cutting hard to the net and the goalie diving at me. He got the worst of that exchange, but he did make the save.

Picked up some new X60 pro's on clearance for $100 shipped from purehockey.com My little guy is 7 months right now and I already told the wife that next Christmas he'll be getting his first pair of skates.

Very cool man. Myself and a bunch of guys rented an hour of ice at Soldier Field. They are hosting the Windy City Classic there this year. Should be a great time.

Picked up a Nexus 1000 over the weekend. P88 /77 Flex/ Griptec

I've only skated in them once but so far so good. I have never picked up a pant and been surprised by how light they were before I picked these up.

I picked these up over the weekend b/c I was looking to get a pair of lighter CCMs. I could not believe how light these were and they still seem as protective as my U+09s, maybe a hair less. They seemed so light I actually looked up the weight and it was 2.53 lbs, which is actually a few grams less that the Crazy Light ones, which are at 2.86. Now the CL line has more protection, but since I play beer league I should be fine. Anyways they are the new U+12's and at $90 they'll be worth it if they hold up. Sorry for the grainy cell phone photo.

Funny thing is the twisting pinky thing annoyed me enough to go with the X60 Pros in all black, but I really liked the feel of both gloves. I'm sure i would have been happy with these as well.

They look as thought they might be as low profile as their current line, which is what I was hoping for. do a review when you get a chance and let us know if that is the case.
