  4. Do you play for pingree?? because we just played Kents Hill and North Yarmouth Acadmeny this weekend and i think pingree is in the same league as them. my friend is the goalie for NYA, he is USA-17/18 recruit and QMJHL recruit as well. what team are you?

  7. im still pretty swollen 3 weeks after i was cleared
  8. yeah the bottom of my foot and balls of my foot are in alot of pain. Also the muscle on the opposite side of my achilles is really sore (front of foot)
  9. thats exactly what my break was, i had my final appointment 7 weeks after and i was cleared to do anything, i played hockey that night, went out for warm ups i could skate fine but stopping was awful, no muscle so i just skated in between shifts...
  10. Just was cleared to play hockey today, seven weeks since breaking my ankle. Not too bad.
  11. i go back the 23rd for what he said should be my final x ray so we'll see. I can walk right now its just weird with all the swellling.
  12. I go back for the final x-ray the 23rd and he said at that point i could run, so i'm guessing if he said i could run then hockey would be fine. the 23rd will be day 51
  13. do you think skating is more safe (on my ankle) then running when he says I can now run? (if that makes sense)
  14. so eventhough I could see the bone is still cracked its alright to walking with the boot on and not worry about it disrupting it's healing?
  15. got the cast off today and i saw the x-ray and you can still tell the bone is broken but the space around my ankle bone was even again so he said that was the biggest thing. He gave me a walking boot and said it was safe to walk on it. I tried walking and wow its weird. I dont know why he is having me walk on it if its still broken.
  16. tomorrow is the day i get my hard cast off, i cant put all my weight on that ankle as of now but i'll listen to the doc about building strength
  17. not yet, i go to get my cast off tuesday so idk how long after that i can run... But no brace as of now
  18. yeah.. I just know once i get this cast off ill be on the stationary bike to get my strength back quickly... would the elliptical machine be bad for a recovering ankle?
  19. I just noticed recently that when i sleep and try to move my leg I get a sharp pain in my achilles. Is this just because im putting all the stress somewhere else other than my ankle or does anyone else know?
  20. yeah i was at our schools state championship lacrosse game and i hit some dirt and fell back and, instinctivly i put my left foot down to catch my self and oh man my ankle swelled up good haha
  21. my recovery will probably end up being longer because i keep falling or slipping and putting my ankle down to support me
