  1. Hey Ashtasticness! Yes, you'll really feel the difference especially if you notice the space now. I had never paid attention to the space in the toe cap prior to testing them and it blew me away. I have also gone out a few times for my son's practices and forgot to bring the POWERFOOT... it's brutal without! Once you go POWERFOOT you never go back HAHA
  2. Hey Bolt! That's great to hear, especially since you've been able to skate with them a few times. Welcome to the lifer POWERFOOT club ;)
  3. Thanks CaseyJones! Glad you're happy with them and thanks for spreading the word, you and the rest of modsquad have really moved the needle on this !
  4. Hey tcc, We're glad we found the solution! Glad they're working out!. Thanks for spreading the word.
  5. Hey, Welcome to team POWERFOOT! Glad you like them and also have that back up pair just in case! It's great to hear you picked them up from IW, we're definitely happy they're carrying the POWERFOOT and spreading the word. Cheers!
  6. Hey Hergs, thanks for picking up a pair! Where'd you grab a set of reds? Retail? What size skates you in? In regards to the sizing we don't currently make a bigger size bit we have some options when it comes to shims. I'll send you out a "shim pack" so you can find your sweet spot. Just send me a DM with your info and we'll take it from there. Cheers! edit - and yes... coming from Makos you're swimming ;)
  7. Hey Flyers10! Always good to hear from the guys who started this great thread! Yes, we will be in a few by the end of the month and we're excited about it. We will continue selling from our site for the time being as we feel it will continue to help strengthen our brand and product awareness which in turn will help our new partners as well.
  8. Hey! Glad you want to try them out! I'm not sure if I can post promo codes on here but if you follow us on Instagram there are codes posted from time to time. @adrenalinedesign By the sounds of it there is less space then a typical skate, right? If that's the case i woudl go with our "mako" version. Have you ordered some for your hockey skates yet?
  9. Hey tcc, It may be easier if I give you a call and go over a few reasons you may be feeling that it's not as dense so quickly. We can the update the thread for anyone following along. If that works for you, DM me your number and the best time to call and I'll make it happen. Hey Shoot_the_goalie, Yes, we've had positive feedback from skiers, snowboarders, golfers, soccer players as well as using them in running shoes for training and ball hockey. Ball hockey is actually a pretty good one because they also add some extra protection for rhe slashes that are inevitable. For most footwear we're using a thinner version. I wear them in my ASICS, and love it. As for skiing we may have to play around with the sizing before something official comes out. Why? Do you experience issues with toe movement in your ski boots? Oh, and on a non sports related topic we've just started to offer the SECUREFOOT which is for construction boots... lots of great feedback there. Just had a fireman test some out today, he had a great initial test with them.
  10. Hey tcc, they should definitely not be losing their puff after 1 game. We have estimated that they should have relatively the same thickness/puffiness for about 100 sessions. My first question would be if they were damp when you felt them. We are working on a treatment that will make them more repellant to water but until then we advise that you loosen your laces as much as possible to allow good air flow so they can dry between games. We're they damp?
  11. Hey vsawchuk, I passed on the question to Rob [inventor/founder] and he said the following - "The inserts will deform if they’re exposed to excessive heat. Wouldn’t recommend it. " You can try removing them carefully before and attempt to stick them back in after. As I've mentioned I no longer stick mine in but, before I went that route I had actually ripped my POWERFOOT out post game a few times to show to a few guys and I was able to get them to more or less stay put after. Or wing it and hope for the best ;) Great to hear the POWERFOOT continues to deliver. Let us know what you end up doing and how it goes. Cheers!
  12. Thank you! You have no idea how much we appreciate you and the rest of the modsquad community helping us spread the word. We are very proud of the POWERFOOT and excited to show you guys what's next ;) Good luck out there! Mike
  13. Hey zlowe247, thanks for the interest! The standard SR pack will be great for you. You'll definitely want to test out with or without a shim (comes in the pack) as well.We do have some major retailers about to pick them up in the States, I hope to have an update for you guys next week. Don't think I can post promo codes in here but if you follow our social feeds especially instagram @adrenalinedesign we post them up there fairly regularly. Let me know if I missed anything. Cheers! Hey tcc...Right, we actually suggest you change them every 100 skates or so to make sure they're giving you the best support. I have taken many out as I often test retest and play around with variations for product knowledge etc. I would suggest a slow peel vs ripping just because you may leave some foam on top. I actually suggest doing it right after a game when they're heated up and damp. Are you getting close?
  14. My Pleasure and yes, you'll be right in the sweet spot for the standard pack. Can you tell me what LHS stands for? I assume Brick and Mortar retail store... but can't figure it out and I've seen it on here a few times. If it is a retailer then yes, the 30 day guarantee is valid. The only difference is that you return them to the store and they would contact us. When you get your inserts, what I suggest you do is try one skate with the insert only and the other skate with the insert and shim. Be sure not to remove the adhesive strips from either the insert or the shim until you know which option fits better! After lacing up your skates, you should be able to tell within 1-2 minutes which one is right for you. You may even want to get a skate in before you commit to your size. let me know if you need anything else. Cheers!
  15. Hey tcc! We have moved away from the 3 color / size option as it increased the potential of buying the wrong size (especially in a retail environment ). We determined that the blue (medium) with a shim (combined are a large/red) will fit 95% of skates. This also gives you the opportunity to play around with the sizing and see what works best. As for that 5% that won't fit into this size... half of them are Mako skates the other are Bauer skates over a size 10. The Makos have the smallest toe box so we have created a custom insert for those. Bauers are on the other end of the spectrum and any 10+ size can potentially take a 2nd shim so we add that in with your order. The POWERFOOT also come with a 30 day guarantee which is also nice... no returns yet though ;) Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!
  16. Hey Bolt91, Sorry about the customer service dis-connect, what email address did you use [we didn't see one]? We have looked into both sizes and there is only about a 3mm difference in width and 4mm difference in length. The JR should work well with these slight differences, the only change in placement may be to pull it pack from the front of the skate about 4mm [so just shy of the front of the skate]. Let me know how it feels. If you have any issues will work with you to get you what you need. Feel free to email me directly if you need anything else taken care of. michael@adrenalinedesign.ca Cheers!
  17. Awesome! I'm glad you reached out... I was about to look up your order to follow up! I was concerned when you mentioned you weren't getting a good fit, so this is great news! Thanks for this great feedback as well. Also hope that phone bill wasn't to big ;) next time send me a note and I'll call. May I can swing a discount on our next product coming out if that helps! Cheers,
  18. What a phenomenal review! Thanks @yipperzz we'll be re-posting this for sure! Thanks for spreading the word, like so many other here on Modsquad, which is HUGE for a small start up company like ours! Cheers! Nice! Welcome to team POWERFOOT!
  19. This is awesome! So I guess you're keeping the 1x skates then!? Did you have the shim on them? Hey Chippa, Thanks for the interest, the POWERFOOT will help with that extra space for sure. For the life of me I can't figure out LHS... if you mean brick and mortar stores there are about 70 but mainly in Canada. I can look up a location for you, just let me know what City you're in or you can also visit http://adrenalinedesign.ca/where-to-buy/to find a store near you. Cheers!
  20. Well that doesn't sound good, probably not worth it then.
  21. Hey, you may be interested in the flex 55 [ http://www.55flex.com/tablet/innovation.html] I have not tried them myself but they do pretty much what you're asking for. Might be worth a shot.
  22. Nice! Welcome to Team POWERFOOT! Let us know how it goes. Cheers!
  23. GunRunner already gave you some great feedback so I'll just throw in that the POWERFOOT comes with a full 30 day money back guarantee which may help if you're on the boards :) This is also a good time to remind you and the modsquadhockey.com community that there are 2 days left for FREE SHIPPING to the United States and Canada! Cheers! This is some great feedback boys, Thanks for sharing! I'd like to share them on our social feeds, please let me know if you guys have any issue with that. Glad to have you both on Team POWERFOOT. All the best in the New Year! Cheers!
  24. Nice! Welcome to team POWERFOOT! I agree pucks to the toes get old fast! Let us know what you think once you get a few skates in them! I'm guessing you've stuck them in eh? If not, you could always go a few games without just to see. Thanks for the feedback and let us know how it goes after a few more sessions. Cheers!
  25. Happy to hear you'll be keeping them in, and welcome to Team POWERFOOT! The Power is hard to measure, how about the stability? Do you feel more stable in your turns and crossovers?
