    I grabbed a sports radar this spring and have been very disappointed to find that flex has very little effect on the speed of my shot until it drops off from being too whippy. From 110 down to 85, it really seems to be hand speed more than anything else. The release feels very different, and my Ribcor Pro3 (85 flex, P02 curve) fires harder than any other by a few MPHs on a clapper, but overall the speed is the same. I was really hoping to see bigger differences considering how much time I've spent worrying about flex. So between 87 and 82, just go with what feels better. The actual effect on your shot is likely minimal. For reference, wristers come in at roughly 60-65 mph. No skates, with a shooting pad. So Im not exactly an expert on getting the most out of stick.

    I would say this is a big part of it too. Being new here feels like walking into a room full of old friends and trying to participate in the conversation. Which it essentially is.

    I use old threads here for a resource all of the time but I almost never say anything here because the vibe is super negative. Im excited about new gear. I love talking about it. But every thread here turns into inane off topic bickering. It's such a bummer. The old stuff is great though. I wasn't here for it but I see why you would miss how it used to be here.

    Do we know what codes Bauer is putting on sticks in the last couple of years? I recently got a stick with a confusing code (BROSE / 2NPROSE) and I started looking and couldn't find anything recent on Bauer codes via this site or reddit. Then I tried matching codes on SidelineSwap and realized that Bauer pro stick codes have changed a lot since most of the accessible info is out there. Or maybe Im an idiot and missing the newer info. But has anyone seen updated Bauer info for pro stock codes?

    Hey, I am wondering if anyone has used one of these sticks before. They have a couple of curves that look fun to try and I am thinking about getting a custom "Super Natural". Are they worth the price for a beer league / drop in player? What is their reputation as far a durability?

    On today's 31 Thoughts pod they discussed the new ADV as having maybe the clisest blade feel to a wood stick yet. Did anyone else catch that segment? That along with the "slingshot" terminology being used, makes me wonder if there is more to it than just a hole in the blade.

    Scrolling Getty it looks like he changed sticks mid way through the game against VAN. That makes me guess it's less likely to be a wrap. I feel like a mid game switch is more likely to be grabbing something new put of frustration. But that's just a totally wild guess.

    CCM does seem to be pushing Jetspeed very hard. I never understood why they don't dress the LK team sticks as Ribcor.

    I think the P01 is completely straight until the toe hook. I can't even imagine what will come when kids develop on that type of blade. I hope they stick with it.
