Some photographer at the rink sold me a CD of me for like 5$. I'm glad i bought it, there's about 100 pictures of me. I chose a couple : BTW, i don't put my jersey in my pants on purpose. :P

This thread doesn't have a hundred pages for nothing. It goes from David's eclosion in the LHJMQ to his first game at the Bell center vs the Habs. And there's a lot to be added! If you have time someday, scroll throught it; it's just an unbelievable story.

People in St-Louis love Perron, he's playing very well and scoring goals, he even has the best +/- in the team. The Blues have NO chances to make the payoffs so why not give the fans what they want (a little more Perron) and give David more experience for next year? I'd agree with what you all say if those games where crucials for the Blues but right now they have no meaning, do they?

Wine? More like cheap champagnes. They finished the restaurant's reserves of Don Perignon and Cristal. The manager said he had to borrow some from another place. As David said, those players are nice guys and they probably won't give the entire bill to the 3 rookies.

Lots of news about David today in the papers. In fact, he made the front page. The Blues had their little fiesta where the rookies pay in Montréal, yesterday. 39 000$ divided in 3 (i think the blues have 3 rookies right?). They also asked him about Kovalev, of course. David spoke about him nicely, about how he proved this year what kind of player he was, etc. He also said he would buy Kovalev's new training DVD. :D David, I hope you have a great game tonight with all your people watching!

I saw the youngstars game is going to be 3 on 3 hockey this year.

camhockey16 and Dalston, Retail patterns are usually given pro player's name to identify them but they usually don't have any link or similarity with the "pro" player pattern. Kovalev pro and retail warrior Kovalev are 2 different things. As for David, I tend to agree with chippa on this one. How can you deprive a natural scorer like David from scoring fancy goals. Sure practice with pros sounds good and bus traveling sucks but IMO, you gotta either make him play or send him back in the Q where he could get big numbers. I may be totally wrong.

NICE! Why the wait? I can't believe how frustrating it must have been for his family (big bro especially) to see him in the stands. It was for me at least, i can tell you!

Honestly, going back to the Q would not be a bad thing at all and i actually think it's going to happen. (Not because of David's performances at all). Then David could dominate the league with plenty of ice time and show off his fancy moves on more vulnerable defensemans. Travelling in bus must suck tho. :P

This story is one i would never have believed if i had not seen it. In less than 2 years, a young talented player went from playing pickup hockey for 5$ in a couple cities of the region against recreational players like me and even worst to beeing part of the St-Louis Blues 2007-2008 season starting line-up. He went from paying for all his sticks, skate and equipement to a possible 750 000$/year contract. All in front of my eyes. I was so impressed about his game when he made me look like a cone several times in a row that i followed everything he did then and everytime we heard about him on the news, it was something greater and greater. This thread is flooded with "Congrats David" post everytime he did better. "Congrats David, good luck in lewiston!" "Congrats for the season, lewiston's best scorer! wow" "Congrats for your series performance and the cup with lewiston, what an accomplishment!" "Congrats for the draft! Damn, drafted in first round, who would have though??" "Congrats for beating Russia and for your awesome goal" "Congrats for making the team, looks like your in the NHL now." All this in such a short period of time, it must be a record, really. What's next? "Congrats for your move against Luongo, awesome" :lol: I have so much respect for you and everything you've done. Keep it up.

Bad call IMO but based on post-game interviews (i didn't watch the game) from a few players and the coach, it was Vancouver's game and the Maineiacs didn't deserve it. Seems like the giants were a better team in this game. Nice goal by #39. Perfect little tip.

To David and Pascal: I just figured out my "boss", Carla Vierra is in your family. She's been my boss for a long time, 5+ years, and since she knows i "know" you guys, she talks about you pretty often. She's very proud. I even learned David's litlle knickname...Good luck in Vancouver

I'm not sure but i think Lewiston won 3 series 4 games to 0. Powerful team. What are their chances for the memorial Cup?
