same time as the rest of the gear

It's just going to be a breakaway relay, just like the skills competition. For every "good" thing this league does, they do at least three or four bad things to make up for it. What "good" thing have they done lately? Or at least what have they done "right"? Bettman wants the ASG to be just like the NBA. That's why they have the new shootout contest in the skills comp, and that's why the youngstars game will be less structured than the last time you played on a pond. People have been calling for a trick shot competition, there was a topic on it here a while ago. It will generate some sportscenter highlights and that extra visibility is good for the league.

The worst possible format they could have picked.

Fit - I needed a large stretched most of the way out, very unusual for me. I'm usually a medium guy or a large on the smallest setting. The EPP on the sides makes it a bit too narrow for an optimal fit. There are some pressure points but nothing painful, just not quite right. 7/10 Ventilation - Seems ok. I really don't notice much difference between my old 690s, my 8k and the Intake Fusion. I'm actually wearing it while I type and it isn't making me warm, so it must be at least half decent. I just don't really feel any difference on the ice. Many of the vent holes are partially or fully blocked by padding making them somewhat less effective. I'd rate it good but nothing really all that different from anyone else. 7/10 Protection- I have yet to take a hit and I'd like to keep it that way. The pressure points and the EPP pushing on the sides would concern me a bit, but I don't play in a checking environment. N/A Weight - Feels a bit heavier than my 8k, but not a brick by any means. I don't really feel any weight up there whole playing and it certainly doesn't require any attention, exactly what you want in a helmet. 8/10 Durability - I've only been using the helmet a month or so, therefore it's premature to make any type of decision on durability. N/A Conclusion - Considering the comfort of the padding, it's not a bad lid at all. The fact it's much cheaper than most other high end lids, doesn't hurt either. I would have preferred it without the EPP or solely with a thin VN padding. I'm not a big fan of the fact that the top/back padding is held in place by the screws securing the ear flaps in place. Once I removed the ear flaps the padding would move a little bit, requiring regular adjustment. All in all, It's not bad but I will most likely be replacing it with the new Vector VN helmet as soon as I can lay hands on one. Overall 7/10

Don't worry I beat up on them too. It's my job to keep everyone honest and on their toes. ;) BTW, I never liked the flyweight, the T-Flex worked much better for me. the shaft or low connection? in previous threads i mentioned how i would take the dremel to std blades for my 1100s-- money! you being a bigger guy flex was probably not an issue with TFlex Shafts, but being part of the crowd that cuts about 3 inches of their shafts it pretty much loses all load/flex characteristics. even still i never like the high connection point of the TFlex, but then again some guys like the higher kick point. didnt Hespeler have Inno Made shafts that were Mid Kick and Low Kick? " Arguing with a Parts Guys is like wrestling a Pig in mud......after a while you realize the Pig enjoys it " I always thought the long hosel wood blades loaded a little easier. Probably mental, but so am I. Hespeler pro kick low and mid. I had moved on from the 9009 to the 9010 by that point. The 9010 was essentially an 1100 in the 0 shape. Essentially the same as the oval section of the S17, but the full length of the stick.

He draws a lot of penalties too. Not sure if it happened tonight, missed the game.

there is no more Ribeiro. i liked the pattern, but it just does not move as well as other Heel Curves and it is very similar to a Lidstrom ( McAuley now Hainsey ). it does not make sense to have two heel curves in your line up with square toes. Drury ( Sundin for us ) is from what i have seen the most popular Heel Curve ( #1 Selling Pro Pattern and my PP ). i have spent some time with our new Fuel Ti 75 flex and i can say that i am loving this new stick. Sargy really stepped up the game and the addition of Roman has been solid. we have some great designers in Montreal and Mission is really coming on as a company. stay tuned guys! They were doing a pretty good job before everything got moved to Montreal in the first place.

Yeh, I don't like warrior either but if the stick works, it works. Easton and Warrior take opposite routes but IMHO, are equally bad. Obviously, you can't go without buying any Easton or Warrior products for long without costing yourself money. I've been using other brands for the last several years and having better results than I have with those two brands.

Joe's a nice guy, I can't wait to see him in Vegas. ;)

You are an idiot. Given this post alone I wouldn't believe you if you said that the sky was blue.

Garon flat out robbed him of a second goal. Great backhand and an even better glove hand.
-
On the plus side, he did get some ice time in OT.

Seriously, do you even look at topic titles? http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...showtopic=36624

PMs are great for having an off-topic conversation, as are IMs, email or even a phone.

Drew, you might want to call Jagr and let him know you have all the leftover Kohos in the free world.

No it isn't Interesting, I thought that's what the "mono-comp" technology was. Then the marketing works.

XP are their traditional cut, stiff skates. AGX are lower cut but still stiff skates.

Fixed that for you

yes, it's plastic. It's called the "rocket runner" and is covered heavily somewhere, try searching on those terms in the equipment area and it should come up.
