His stick broke, but it really worked out. David really showed how well he sees the ice tonight and that little dangle midway through wasn't too shabby either. He made nice moves three or four times (that I saw) but guys just grabbed on to him before he could get by them.
-
Nice pass, Johnson fanning on the shot really paid off.

Freaking comcast has my center ice packaged all screwed up. I can't get any game, let alone this one. I'll be happy to pay for a DVD and shipment of this game.
-
Where did you get them? A buddy of mine is looking to pick up a pair for his son.
-
I (kinda) feel bad for the first team he plays against...he's gonna be so pissed off and fired up that it has taken this long to get into a game...he's likely to go off on them for 3-4 points. Might I suggest?
-
I was thinking about going to that game, thanks for the heads up.

Coaches at the NHL level are experienced enough to make an assessment that is not swayed by one mistake and likewise one highlight. Personally I prefer the Messier attitude - if we screw up and let one in, no problem we will just get two back. Power to David I say. He had a pretty tough game, not just one play. I think the fact that they didn't send him down right away is encouraging, far too many coaches don't give younger players a chance to make amends.

I haven't seen him on the ice too much.

Update: Evidently durability shouldn't have been a concern as I finally broke the shaft a couple weeks ago, more than two years after I started using it. I have used a few other sticks from time to time but I have always returned to the R2XN10 because of the performance. I did baby it at first but after a while I became more aggressive than ever with the stick. I finally paired it with the R2 comp blade to keep my blade expenses down. The balance was quite good, but I also use a full four inch wood plug.

I hope that one's available online

I am in the midst (1st hour out of approximately 2) of uploading it to sendspace. It's a 126 MByte file, and I missed the beginning of the interview. If that doesn't work Chadd will help me upload it. I have also asked the station to provide a link or copy of the interview for us.

and the gussets are mesh im assuming... is 117 royal blue? on the custom order page it only has names of colors, not numbers? That looks like royal, though lighting always makes it hard to tell. I'm just guessing at the stock color code for that particular glove. If you go off of the custom order form: Royal blue tufftek White logo Digital palm Mesh gusset

117 I believe

How often do you get yelled at for not being able to see? :P I don't know about the states rules, but in Canada your not allowed to where that helmet cause the helemt its missing the plastic ear protectors and you are not allowed to have a tinted visor USAH does not require a certified helmet or visor, I wear my old Jofa 235 in teh summer. As for wearing a mirrored visor as a ref, that's even worse than wearing it as a player. The only potential acceptable excuse is if you exclusively work outdoor inline hockey games. Otherwise, it's just asinine.
-
That's because the shaft is rotated slightly to the right.

He can be sent back to junior at any time and only gets paid the NHL salary while with the Blues. If he plays more than 10 games this season, it counts as year one of his entry contract.
-
When Arnott was around they were one of the highest scoring teams in the league. They didn't have tons of chances but they converted on a pretty high percentage.
-
You know a breakaway does create an odd man advantage in your end of the ice for the other team if they can get control of the puck.
-
When someone goes blowing past me in shitty conditions, I refuse to pull over and help when they end up losing control. Anyone that stupid doesn't deserve the help.

My Mustang was a go-kart in the snow, as was one of my best friends. Our town was built on the side of a hill and my family had a lot of problems finding cars that could make it up in the winter. In some conditions, driving knowledge is irrelevant. That said, I drove my Rodeo and Amigo in RWD most of the time and the only issue I had was starting on wet roads. The tires almost aways spun unless I started out in second gear. That's a nice benefit of having a standard transmission, you can drive in a gear with lower torque.
-
They're great until you actually wear them and they get marked up. They start looking bad pretty quickly.
-
i understand that 100%, but you must agree that there are some RWD cars that perform better in snow than others, do you not? im looking for a comparitive analyisis i guess is the best way to put it. You didn't seem to care about the comparative analysis of the engines.
-
The Fiero I had in college was the best car I ever drove in the snow. Then again, the engine sitting right above the rear axle had a lot to do with that. The RWD versions are not as good in the snow as the AWD versions. Since you aren't listening to any of the advice given, you wight as well just do whatever you're planning on and get it over with.
