Going in the first round is never a downgrade. He played in a league with very little visibility last year and wasn't seen by scouts. This year, he was seen and what the scouts saw warranted a first round pick. If anything, it's a lesson in hard work and dedication paying off. Some guys might have given up after being passed over the first time around, the fact that David didn't should teach us all something. Just keep us updated on where you go in your "real" draft year.

LMAO - who are you to judge what is uselss to some people and what isn't to others? Grow up, ever think so things YOU do seem useless/don't do anything? Lighten up Francis I believe he's just carrying over some advice from this topic. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...c=23700&hl=

Believe it or not, you may enjoy a subaru wagon. They are fun to drive, and great in the snow. Not to mention, they are good on gas and relatively safe. My wife loves hers but I don't find it all that comfortable. With hockey bags I'm a big fan of hatchbacks and/or tailgates for loading gear.

Atrophy is a major problem for athletes returning from a long term injury

Dial up woes? No, just reminding people of rule #9. That link is at the top of the page for a reason. Plus, what Mack said. 9. Post a link to large pictures or stories instead of posting them. Large pics can take a long time to download for those without high speed connections and stories can't be reprinted without permission of the author or publisher.

Enough with the huge pics. If they're that big, just link to them.

I have a feeling that he'll be busy ;)

Factory samples, can't say any more than that. Love that curve, too bad I'm not man enough to use his flex.

I have the pants too. I am placing a personal bounty on the head of Tim McCracken. He's the coach and chief goon on that Syracuse team. A hundred bucks of my own money for the first one of my guys that reallly nails that creep.

I decided to start cleaning up the gear closet. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/pics/chadd/gloves.JPG

I didn't do it. There is a place in town that does Twill lettering very reasonably. $25 (one color) $35 (two color) $45 (three color). I had it done there. The Gold isn't an EXACT match...but it's DAMN close. yeah, it's just a bit lighter. Still looks very good. It doesn't look that far off in person. The flash lightened the back numbers...in the picture of the front...the "11" is a lot closer to the MSH logo than the back appears. The trim tends to lighten up with any flash. The colors look very close to the one OT did for me. I'll upload the pic for comparison tomorrow along with a lot of other pics I've been meaning to upload.

The dealers charging $600 have to pay a lot more for their gear than the dealers charging $300. Once your local shops pay the distributor and extra duties, they have to charge higher prices to stay in business.

Beat me right down :P I have a larger palm and shorter fingers...I don't like the fit of most 14-inchers. I'm working on bending that finger inwards, I like them straight. If the manufacturers would just shorten the gusset on the inside of the index finger it would make the gloves so much more comfortable and effective.

Fingers look stubby and the index finger the "outside twist" ting going on that I hate.

This coming from a guy who has four posts that aren't even on topic? And an attitude problem? You're now on mod approved posting until you grow up.

The current popularity is the fad. Sure they've been around for a long time but they have only been accepted on the fringes of civilized society until recently. Doesn't necessarily qualify all ink as a "fad". These little emo kids getting the same crap tattoed on them, the same flash designs, the little wannabe-punk rock stuff - yeah, that's a fad. Anyone can get the balls to get some little dinky piece of ink, but to get a large amount done, that's beyond being a "fad"... Never said it all was. I would actually call the large increase in people getting substantial work done, the actual fad. Most people I've seen who have had them done got one or two, barring the sideshow freaks in the old days. In the last decade I've seen more and more people with absurd amounts of coverage. Maybe it's a generational thing and at some point everyone will have their arm, leg and most of their back covered with some type of design. Your assertion that having more work done makes you and your ink somehow more relevant implies that it's just another "more is better" type of thinking that makes no sense to me. This is not to bash everyone with ink. Hey, if you want something on your body for the rest of your life, go for it. Just remember that not everyone is going to share your taste and that may very well include the person interviewing you for your next job.

Amazingly enough, I found this article thanks to google in about 10 seconds. The Vue is #6. http://www.autobytel.com/content/shared/ar...icle_id_int/148 Hell, here you can even compare it side by side with your current car. This internet thing is amazing. http://www.kbb.com/kbb/CompareCars/Report....nHistory=%24%24

SUVs don't get good mileage, let alone ones that have room for multiple hockey bags (I'm assuming that's what you meant, because I have no idea what multiable hoceky means) and passengers (another guess). That's just my experience, others may have differing opinions.
