I found the fingers to be a touch short when I tried them on, shorter than most 14"

But the cost of getting them to Australia would also be high too so the profit margins still wouldn't be that much. Just guessing though, I have no numbers.

4 games left in the season until playoffs, hopefully we end on a bit of a streak, we're currently in second, and have a chance to make a lengthy playoff run. Feels so much better playing on a good team compared to last year when we sucked.

Started the season 0-2 this weekend. I know it's a long season, but we have a good team this year and we shouldn't have lost to the teams that we lost to. in addition i got hit from behind on sunday so it looks like im on the shelf for a while, need to get my shoulder checked out.

my turn to ask a question. I recently bought a new pair of skates at sport check, they were on sale, excellent fit so I bought them. Long story short, I want to swap out the holders, and this would involve taking them to my LHS, to whom I'm usually very loyal, it was merely luck that these were on sale etc, is it bad to bring in brand new skates, (didnt even sharpen them) and ask to change out the holders, even though the skates were not bought there? I fully expect to pay for the labour first sharpening etc, but I feel kind of guilty in doing so...

They had a pair of Naslund's gloves at the pro hockey life in toronto a couple years ago, and the employee told me they were just in the fingers because he had a history of fracturing fingers on slashes and stuff, and the metal along with the one piece fingers added a bit more protection

found a job for the summer. pretty excited because in my town it seems jobs are strictly on a who you know basis. People that i've talked to laugh at my job but i'm doing the training and it doesn't seem too bad, plus its good money. only downside is I work late every night, but I see that as a plus as well, since it means I won't spend as much money at the bar. haha
