I can put this in the sweet spot, because it all ended well.
First national tournament roller hockey game with kovalchuk71 and the Alkali Assault...took a high stick that put us on the power play, which we eventually scored on to end the game 8-0. Had a goal myself as well, and didn't lose any teeth in the process! First time being hit in five or six years of wearing a visor, but, needless to say, going to work tomorrow to buy a cage.

Those are some sweet, sweet skates EBondo...well done! I have the nexus 800's for ice and like them a lot but the 2nd gen Nexus look much improved.
Thanks! The new Nexus line is light years better than the previous I think. Totally reimagined, light as hell, and comfortable in every way, for me at least. I think Bauer hit a home run with these, and I really hope they sell well.

Which hockeygiant?
Anyone have a spare labeda hum'er chassis to sell? Preferably black and needs to be for a size 8-9 skate.
Cherry Hill, NJ
Congrats .. I guess?! are you implying that your workplace is where you got this done and that it can be of any help to me... no pun Broheem..just looking to get my wheels tuned up.
Yeah, that's where I did em at lol
By the way, first skate on them was today, and my oh my are they nice. Going to take a few skates to break them in, obviously. They were super, super stiff. But one of the most comfortable skates I've worn in a long time. I think Bauer hit a home run with these.

Where do you get the conversion done?
I work at HockeyGiant.

Why did they copper them all?
That's what Bossman does on inline converts.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It's been a tough 24 hours, but I know we did the right thing. Went and saw 22 Jump Street last night with the friends so it was nice to have some laughs for the night. But when I got home and he wasn't there it hit me again, and today was pretty rough. Our neighbors stopped by today with a card for us, and a vase with a bunch of marbles in it. Clever, and awesome gesture from them which made me smile. Whenever he purred, it always made a sound like when you have a bunch of marbles in your hand, which is where the name comes from.
Still gonna take some time to get over, but, we know we made the right decision.

Two year anniversary of my grandmother passing away, and my parents decide today is a good day to put our 19-year old cat down. I'm only 24...so he's been around really for as long as I've been able to form my own thoughts and emotions.
Best pet I've ever owned and will ever own...

Newest conversion will be posted on Saturday...can't wait to try them out on Sunday. After a sizing snafu because I had to buy them blindly, being an unreleased skate, I'll finally have the right size on Fridayl

20 hours into my 24th birthday, no happy birthday text or message or anything from my "best friend...." pretty crappy feeling. Guess I know where I stand when it comes to me and her boyfriend...

The mission S series was great. Only problem was that I wouldnever want to block a shot of them. Also tendon guard durability was suspect at best and the pitch hardware needed to be tightened once in a while
That being said, only time Ive ever bought 2 pairs of the same skate.
I tried finding another pair so bad. Still do now, even though I'm sure my foot has changed and I have no idea whether I'd fit in them now. But that was such a comfortable skate

Mission S400's. Skate Zone by me had a pair of S500's when I was there the other day but they were too small, unfortunately. I got really, really excited at first.

Can't wait to have my next conversion on here....love my RBZ's but eh, the lace bite I'm not a fan of unfortunately. Next skates should solve that problem, once I get them

I wonder how much abuse goes on during the programs. We told our employees its for them and them only & if they aren't wearing the skates they'll be in trouble. It makes it a little easier to control when you only have 8 employees though ha.
I imagine a lot. I was talking to the Reebok/CCM rep in our area a couple of weeks ago (who was a previous HG employee), he said as much as they don't condone it, there really isn't anything they can do about it, and he's seen it happen time and time again.
Although yes the programs are abused quite abit what happens if you plain just dont like the skates? I got the mako deal and didnt like them at first. I was very, very close to giving up and getting rid of them. I have nexus coming my way and its my first time trying a stiff composite boot and the nexus fit.. what happens if I hate them?
That's what I was wondering. I mean if I just flat out couldn't wear the skate, what happens after?

How much did it set you back? I've been thinking about getting my X:60 Pros done.

The first few employee purchase programs should be trickling in...
Oh I've been informed already haha

I love, love, love my new job...sure it's only sales, but being around hockey equipment all day, five days a week, eight hours a day is amazing. Even more amazing when I have customers like I've had the past two days.
One gentleman, probably in his mid 30's, getting back into the game now. Helped outfit him from head to toe, and was one of the nicest people I've ever helped (including my previous job). If everyone could be as nice as this man was, the world would be a happier place.
Then today, a family just about outdid him when they came in to finish outfitting their son (stick, gloves, pants), and after they were done and leaving the store, the mother turns to me and asks how she can get a hold of HockeyGiant to say how much help I had been with them and how I made their experience as easy and pleasant as possible.
Things like this just make me happy to come to work, and it's awesome to finally be in a place again where I can be happy on my drive to and from.

Fitted a young kid today in his first hockey helmet, he was probably no more than 3 years old. The minute I snapped the last strap, he looked at me, lit up with excitement and screamed "COOL!" Just an awesome moment to share with his family.

The cool thing about Tron is that we say it like it is. We say what other manufacturers and retailers wish they can type. If we don't like what you did we will let you know! We expect the same from you. Hiding behind a computer and making threats that are uncalled for is not our lifestyle..........{Names Redacted}. If you expect to get your ass kissed just because you made threats behind a computer ( lol ) forget it! Maybe Hockey is not for you ...there may be a gymnastics chat room next door!
Just stop...quit while you're already behind and before you make yourself out to be an even bigger a-hole than you've already proved to be. Just stop...this is NOT the way to go about business and surely not a way to win over any potential customers you may have in the future.
I guess you don't realize how much pull MSH has and how big this community is.

Had my first day at HockeyGiant today, training and stuff so nothing too entertaining but feels good to not be unemployed anymore.
