@ icewalker_bg , I'll take that as a compliment. Its a lot of gear for the avg person. Among my friends, it would be an insane collection, but on MSH or some of the other boards its nothing, which sort of makes me feel better about my problem. LOL @Scopes , thanks bud! @GmC , i was never a fan of the all black everything skates, but these do look DOPE. its one thing to see it in your mind, but then its another thing to see it for real. Looks good man! @Scopes , decent pair of shins!!. I had a pair of 6K's as well but in the white/blue colour scheme. no complaints yet.

i've read this entire thread, and its filled with a great wealth of knowledge from people who have been using step. I had a set of regular Step Steel LS2 version on my totals and immediately noticed that the heel was very high. Almost to the point where i questioned whether or not it was designed this way, or that it was designed to be profiled.I had a hard time adjusting to what appeared to be a bigger radius and had them profiled to a stock LS2 radius (9') I've I"ve since moved on, to RBK 20K's with TUUK Lightspeed2 holders, and wanted to get some step steel. My question is, 1) does anybody know the stock radius of the step steel for LS2, or even LS2.1 versions? Because with the elongated heel part it would appear to have a bigger radius than 9'. 2) do any of you skate on the stock profile/radius? or do the majority have your profile contoured to shorten the heel and get to within a 9'-10' radius? Reason for asking is i actually liked how the radius of my blade on the EPRO holders felt (i believe its a 10), and wondering if Step has something like that out of the box, or would my best bet be to have a stock pair profiled to 10'. Thanks in advance!!

yeah i'd be interested to know when these will be available to the public? Was going to pick up some Step Steel, but may hold off for these now.

Just by knowing people who know people. or online. Was never able to actually check out any team sales. (but even then it would just be leafs gear here in toronto). But for the most part you can ask people on here , maybe they can direct you. Depends on what you are looking for though. So if you have a particular team let me know. peace. Theres are also places that sell them at retail price. its almost ridiculously priced, so your best bet is finding them used somewhere/somehow. Just ask around.

You looking for bruins pants?.. i think there are a pair of XL bauer ones brandnew some where in toronto for 35$.. not sure if they're still available.. but look it up on craigslist (thats where i saw it).. you may be able to find it if it hasn't already expired.

Thanks, but i've seen 2 other sens pants that are way sicker! if you scroll a couple pages back theres a pair of NikeBauer sens pants, and if you scroll even further back, theres a pair of old Nike Ones. In anycase i love the look . With the all black and Gold trim. Some dude selling yotes gear on ebay. Msg him and see what he's got. He also had the nike bauer yotes pants with the white stripes down the side, but i prefered the older ones, without the stripes. But he has other brands too.. CCM, RBK.. try sending him a msg... i think his ebay name is topshelfgino.. goodluck..

Those vapor XXX's are sick. Did you get them online or at a LHS? I had one like that (with the red) XXX's, cant remember the curve pattern, but i snapped it the first time on the ice. :(
