Always wondered about this....if that's the case, why isn't the Smyth called the Kovalchuk and vice-versa? Is it due the fact the retail kovalchuk pattern is more popular and Kovalchuk is a more recognizable name?
Agreed. From the side view they are not alike -- my kovalev is longer and not as wide. Was referring to the view from above and should have been more specific. Also, my kovalev is not a warrior blade.
