Was going to suggest the same thing. On a similar note, I had my last set of runners sharpened by a new person. It took me a while but I finally got on them and was catching edges left and right. Thinking the edges were a bit too deep for me (I requested 100/75 too)

Under armour makes one that has mesh at the top that works well too.. The problem i have with that design is that it the elastic prevents the Bicep guard from being lowered than the length of the elastic. I think i got the bicep guards lowered enough to prevent the shoulder caps from jamming into the sides of my helmet. Feels a ton more mobile now than before. I get to try them out tonight and see how it all feels.

Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the the elastic strap that was sewn between the bicep guard and the shoulder cap on a CCM CL shoulder pad is? I unstitched the joint since there is already a nylon strap that adjusts the height of the bicep guard relative to the cap

mc88, or anyone else for that matter. Is there a reason why you went with the U+08 shoulder caps? Lower profile? Thinking I might want to do the same with mine. I have a pair of CL's right now but the caps seem a bit big on me.

You could try to have someone practice interview you . Don't try to assume too much. If the question seems vague you can ask them a question too to help contextualize the answer.
