Well with the heat gun its localized heating and the heat output can get higher than 200 F. Liquid nails suggest layer petroleum Jelly or Mineral spirits to soften the adhesive for extended periods of time. Maybe soak a paper towel with mineral spirits and lay on top to the adhesive only?

Trimming up the insert worked like a charm. no blisters or irritation. Thanks a bunch everyone !

The rubbing from the insert is probably cause the blisters. the last pic shows the bend line of the tongue and insert. its not bending straight across but diagonal down from the top of one point to a third down from the other point (this is the point digging into the tongue. I am going to cut and shape it and see if that helps

I suspect Its a durability issue with the adjustable flex tendon guard. I forgot which release of the supremes that started this. I do recall people pulling on the tendon guard when removing skates and breaking them off

They look great, you're taking a big chance with the skate fitting your foot if that's what youre getting at.

Fairly recently, right around Oct 2018 i think, lately its caused a blister to develop after just one skate. I've skate in them since August of 2016. I have not. I am using the X-stiff insert but honestly, that insert has seen better times. It has a pretty good crease on it at the bend. The Reset of the boot has held up well. padding on the sides are still pretty good as well as the comfort edges. The back of the tongue has seen better days. I'll snap a picture of it when i get time as well as the inserts.

Hey all. Looking for advice on how to fix this issue. I am skating in a retail pair of MX3 Bauer supreme Skates. The fit of the skate is great around the foot but i started to develop blisters where the top of the foot meets up the bottom of the leg on both feet. and its more towards the inside. I am thinking its loose fit where the tongue is rubbing that area aggressively. Thoughts? Felt tongue might fix the issue? Bunga pads? And NO I will not accept that the black Tuuks have anything to do with the issue.

Not being familiar, is it possible the holes on the the E-Pro and/or the blade have elongated due to wear? If there is enough slop between the bolts and the hole, the blades may be loose even with locality on the bolts. Also I wonder if there is enough clamp pressure at the bolts to hold the runner tighter.

Are they the Cobra 3000 or 5000 holders or does the skates have the T'Blade system for the G35 skates? if its the Cobra 5000 NT Lite holder, the runners (blades) can be replaced as long as the boot is still good and the holders still feel stiff. The blade holder broke down on friends skate so badly that the rear tower was able to bend. If the holders are mounted using star screws, you should be able to replace the holder eventually as well. If its the T'blade system, you might have trouble finding replacement runners. Hopefully someone skating on those might be able to chime in on replacement T'blades runners.

Totally makes sense, It appears that the apathy of others is a draining your enjoyment. I think someone suggested taking a couple a nights off from the team OR maybe sub for other teams. Dont let others not showing up mess with your mojo.
