the first two were over 10 years ago and the league we play in is chippy and a lot of cheap crap all around

while thats great in principle, this will be my 3rd shoulder surgery (2 on the left, first on the right). I'll continue to ref but playing and getting cheap shots that make me miss a good chunk of work just arent worth it anymore. Very disheartening

Need rotator cuff surgery from a cheap cross check i took back in janurary, makes me question if i should hang up the skates or not

have to bury a friends little sister, (18 years old) because her car was hit from behind by as the police reported "showing signs of intoxication" he walked away without a scratch and she died when her car flipped off the side of the road...oh yeah and they are not charging him with anything

Sorry to hear this. I had a college professor pass away who was like that to me. Have you thought about doing anything in her honor for Ovarian Cancer? (a walk or donation or something) Although it wont do anything to get her back, it will hopefully help lead to a cure and the feeling you get when you do something like that is a great one! Thoughts and prayers out to you man!

Since its been a major venting for me on the septoplasty! the splints came out (honestly couldnt believe they were about the size of my pinky...feel free to google septoplasty splints if you want to see) but its now sweet because i can breathe again!!!

Thats pretty much it, the first 2-3 days were brutal and the pain killers didnt really help! the splints that come out on tuesday are stitched in so any time my nose moves it pulls at stitching which hurts like all hell! Counting the hours til tues at 830am when they come out

Had the deviated septum surgery...yeah it sucks more than i thought! and as far as stupidity, think of how dumb the average person is, HALF of the world is dumber than that!

they did local but sent to wrong town, so I had to get it from that town and pay mine...

it was all direct deposited, so i never actually printed a paystub (I know my fault for not checking but it sucks now)

Know what you mean...found out that my old job wasnt taking my state taxes out so now I owe PA a nice chunk of change and no one can explain as to why this wasnt withheld to begin with!

Thanks for the advice, I am going to ask the doc about the allergies! The breathing and constant bloody noeses is still a major issue that the surgery should fix if nothing else! Now the issue becomes if insurance covers the surgery because it can be deemed "cosmetic"

I have had 3 sinus infections, 2 ear infections and bronchitis in the last 3 months, went to Ear Nose and Throat doc, I have a deviated septum and possible sinus issues (need CT scan to determine if i do) and will need surgery! (Not a bad surgery but still not happy about it!)
