Meeting a band, going back stage, whatever!Mine would have to be getting front row tickets to a Dave Matthews Band concert. A friend that went with me somehow got front row tickets from some guy walking around the venue, then came to me and showed me! I was so angry that he had them and I didn't! We then went back to that same guy and he ended up giving me the very same tickets!!! It was the best concert I have ever been to! Sitting front row at a Dave Matthews Band concert! sdcopp 1 Report post Posted April 16, 2005 Fear Factory, Static-X and Dope at a small enough venue that all the bands were floating around in the crowd when they weren't playing having a good time and drinking with the fans. Ever since I got that gorge DVD, it looks like such a great place! My favorite venue I have ever been to is Alpine Valley in East Troy, WI. Hell yea to Stand Up! Another DMB fan. My best moment was either in Ames when DMB had Neil Young come out and play Rockin in the Free World, All Along the Watchtower, and Cortez the Killer. Twenty minute guitar solos by Young are amazing. Or when I saw DMB at Alpine Valley last year. Phenominal. D3nZ 0 Report post Posted April 16, 2005 It was probably when I went to see Joe Satriani and Dream Theater in 2002 in Quebec. Got up at 7 in the morning, drove to Quebec (3 hours and a half). Spent the day there got my pictures taken with the lead singer of DT James Labrie and also got his authograph, drove back after the concert, arrived here at 6 in the morning cause we were stopping at every gas station to make sure everyone was ok and no one was too tired to drive. Didn't sleep at all packed the car and went to Moncton to start university. Didn't sleep for about 42 hours. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

headonaswivel 1 Report post Posted April 16, 2005 My cousin was the guitarist in Hot Hot Heat up until this fall.So Ive seen some pretty cool shit because of that. Standing onstage at the House of Blues in Anaheim, filming it. Then partying all night backstage and at the hotel with them and the Osbourne kids and Tony Hawk. Don't gamble with millionaires. Standing on the stage with them playing in front of 50,000 people opening for the Cure and Duran Duran was um, decent.But my fav is still the Bad Boy tour in '97.
