Demo the Synnergy Skate?

Chadd, believe me, I understand they've been making changes..and I know how meticulous Tony is on the design side...its just been on "near rollout" phase for about a year...and I think they missed a major chance to gain some market share with the lockout and their previous marketing goals

I'm all for people getting the right product out..but i've never seen anyone get it perfect prior to launch..there are times you have to just get it to market

Actually the issue with the Eastons as I understand it is the adhesive, not just the composite construction. Kors are designed to be baked and they use slightly different materials. That's why the Synergy is lighter.

actually about the adhesive ..on my skates all that material that is glued to the toe is coming off and my lhs said if all of it comes off i would be able to send them back ..i was wondering if easton would just re glue them instead of giving me new pair

As evidenced by certain other companies who get it to market and then fix the problems. A small company can't afford to do that. Even with a good product they're going to have an uphill battle.

companies always make revisions..there's no perfect product launched..just the next improvement or revision..its not like the earlier generation was filled with glass and thumb tacks...was it the latest..no..but still good enough to launch ..yes..these guys have funding...what they need is marketing

...and that's where you come in, Jim ;)

Yes, I baked mine. Baking won't hurt the composite. It's the glue that they are worried about. I spot-heated my skates with a heat gun, inside the boot. The outer boot never got hot.
