History of hockey gear

I'm doing a report on US "weapons" for history, and I need a hand with a couple websites that can give information from 1920 until now about hockey gear, and how it's changed. If nothing else, a brief run by of generation to genteration of skates would be helpful.

can someone tell me if this evolution of stick is right?

plain wood stick>tape>curve>fiberglass in wood>carbon/graphite in wood>aluminum>graphite/catwo piece>tapered/fused construction> true one piece

is there anything that needs to be added or anything?

My history teacher wasn't too happy when I gave my report. I picked my topic as "US Weapons Development" and he's an ex-marine. I guess he got excited.

Well it seems more and more that sticks are being used as weapons. I can see it now:

"Welcome to the U.S. Army son. Here is your M-16 machine gun, knife and hockey stick. Now go out and kill somebody."
