Kovalchuk is big, as his Hull with his big toe curve.. Corso and Schaefer is not that big, but the loft is very weird.

they had 2 berezin synergys at pure hockey for $125 the curve wasnt that big at all

You can think of loft as kind of like a wedge on a golf club. Not really a big curve but just really open. Like a Lidstrom would be a pretty open curve whereas a Modano would be closed.

An open curve will tend to make your shot go higher and a closed one tends to keep the shot lower. But technique is the most important thing, like MacInnis uses a really open blade (looks kind of like a 9 iron) and he can keep it nice and low every time.

i baught a jofa blade at a local tourney, and it is huge. i dont think it has a name, but it looks crazy. it cant be legal!

how do they judge if a curve is legal or not?
