If you tried them on and found out they fit your foot well, you should know many of the differences already.

the only difference between the 3 really is that the 709 has a much deeper ankle depth in it where the 707 is fairly standard and the 727 is wider all throughout much like the 709 where the 707 has a wide heel with a slightly narrower forefoot section

The most obvious difference is the stiffness. Plus 727s don't seem to hold up very well from what I've seen.

agreed, they hold up if its a referee cause there soft and comfy but not for a player

Great for coaching too.

They're fine for lighter guys, its the bigger players i've seen blow through them.

One of the local kids who can really play had 727s and we kept them on life support until we got some new skates. He was hoping to try the L7s but we got our demo Kors in first so he went with them. He really seems to like them.

how does he find the kors like comapred to the graf

It took him a couple skates to get used to them. The first thing he noticed was a major difference in his stride on his strong side versus his weak side. His strong side was much more powerful in the Kor. I've watched him help out with some of the clinics at the rink and it's a major difference in performance.

what are Kors??

Hockey skates. The rest of your basic needs can be solved through the MSH search and google.

To be fair KOR is only 3 characters and the search has a 4 letter minimum.

I've used Kor skates. The boot is really comfortable, but its really soft around the ankle so it takes a while to get use to. The cool thing is that 3/4 of the skates is composite and they are heatmoldable unlike Easton Synergies which are not. I would kept them but they come with the Mission Pitch holders, which are in my opinion brutal (heavy, stiff and not resposinve at all). The rep also told me that I can't put Tuuks on them since the bottom part of the skate is all composite and drilling holes could cause breakage. Also they don't put insoles in the skates and the pair I had I could feel the end of the screws from the blade holders against my toes. Once they fix all the small glitches and make a deal with Bauer so they can put Tuuks on them the skate will be definetly something special. B)

Umm, they do come with insoles. Pitches use the same hole pattern as Tuuk Custom+. Generally a stiffer holder is considered to be more responsive as there is no give in the holder and therefore no lag.

As a long time Tuuk Custom Plus user, I really like the Pitch holders/steel that I put on my Grafs. I find that the steel holds its edge longer than the Tuuk. I just had a 9' radius put on them.

Well I had the latest model and they didn't have insoles. I've met up with the rep personally and none of the sizes I tried on had insoles in them, its not to say that you can't put insoles in them. I've been skating on Tuuks for a long time and I just found the Pitch holder to be very weird, but maybe thats just me :P . And about the hole patterns maybe he just didn't know what he was talking about, but I wrote down only what I've been told both by the rep and the people at my lhs.

I wore them at the expo and I had a pair in the shop that I sold. (Hopefully the rest show up soon) I have never spoken to my rep, I deal with people in the company directly. You would be surprised if you knew how many reps don't know much more than what the spec sheets tell them.
