Vapor 10 pant shell

My school has team issue vapor 10 pants that will be in thier fourth year of use this winter. I need a new pair of pants to begin with, but don't want a pair of pants that I'm going to wear for one summer then have to adjust to the school pants. I'm thinking about getting a girdle, so would there be an easy way to modify a pro-stock shell to look like a pair of vapor 10's?

We're navy, but required to be "uniform" as far as pants goes. It's idiotic, and I hate the vapors. So I figured if I could make something that looked just like it, it wouldn't matter.

It's so much easier to have team shells. If someone gets hurt because the pants aren't in good condition there is potential for a lawsuit.

Are the school pants two-piece?

If so, just remove it and play with a girdle and use the bottom piece as a shell.

Does anyone know where I can order a padded shell from? Everytime I bid on ebay on a blue one, I get outbid... d'oh!

Would it be easier/cheaper to order the foam and poly caps and sew them into a navy shell?

No, the vapor 10 pants are one piece. I double checked today, so I wouldn't be an idiot if they were, and they defenately aren't.

I'm thinking tackla girdle with a pro stock shell, any recomendations as to who makes them, or if I should take a shot at it myself?

What size pants do you need? I have Bauer supreme lowers (large) and Tackla uppers (52) matching up pretty well. The lowers would probably fit a 54 and 56.
