Bauer 8090's at HockeyGiant for $199.99

Recommended Posts

I figured out I need a 9.5 2E in the 8090's, which just happens to be the only size HG doesn't have, dammit!

No sweet deal for me.....

Hey quick question, i went from a 7D CCM to a 6D Bauer. Is that normal? or were my CCMs to big, cause the bauers fit like a glove.

Ha. Check this out -

When I called and asked if they had the 9.5's in stock, a guy there said "I don't think we do but we could just order them from Bauer."

So I'm thinking "Sweet. Then they'll be the '05 model. :)"

Then I go in there to check if they were able to track them down, which they weren't and I ask if I could place an order for them. The kid who was helping me disappears for a bit, comes back and says "If we are going to order them, we're going to have to charge you full price for them.

I ask him "Oh, is that because the one's your trying to get rid of are the '04 model?" He answered with "No, I don't think so....it would just cost that much because it would be a special order."

LOL. Riiiiight.....

Then he tried to talk me into a pair of Vapor 30's, and I told him "no thanks."

:D

I thought they were going to continue with LS1 until they were used up, then were going to switch to LS2.

The new LS2 steel was put into the Lightspeed holder even before the LS was called LS2. Only when the new hardware was developed & available did we change the graphics to LS2.

Never had inventory to run out, could not even supply demand.

Thanks for the info. I know a couple of wholesalers who had issues keeping lightspeeds in stock.

Chadd in your shop what are the most popular holders, im presuming lightsspeed 1+2's the tuuks but then what?

Custom + is the most popular but we have a lot of people interested in Pitch's if our shipment ever shows up.

So when can we expect to see 8090's with the LS2 holder in stock?
