Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 All I am saying is that a man with his prestige and power, would've made up something far better than his story if he was guilty. No guilty man would ever have a defense that starts with "Yes, I like to have underage boys in my bed alone with me, but...."

mack 44 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Money can't buy you happiness but it can buy you a not guilty verdict. But if touching kids or killing your wife makes you happy, then it's close enough.

freq019 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Yeah... I'd have to say multiple incidents where kids say they were molested doesn't make ol' Mike look too good. Plus I wouldn't put it past him... I mean come on... the moonwalk has to be the silliest move out ther (only because I can't do it).PS So what if he can Moonwalk? Let's see HIM do a Michigan... :) The thing is michael paid off people before so its not really that far fetched that parents seeing dollar signs would convince their kids to lie so that they can cash in. Now that he's actually been to court and won, less people will come forward looking for a quick payday.

Actually, it's easier to win in civil court if you have already been convicted in criminal court. I still small a civil suit coming.

Duder84 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 I think this just opens a whole new can of worms really, there's always going to be more kids "remembering" Jacko touching them where he shouldn't have, I'm not saying he's not guilty, hell I really don't know, but we haven't seen the last of him in court

I can see the judge tossing it because its a money grab.

For some reason, completely irrational mind you, I see this ruling closing the door to further cases against him. I don't see better lawyers going after him since the most recent guy was pretty accomplished. also the burden of proof is just too high, sadly you would have to catch him in the act with video or photographs for him to be convicted it seems. sryhockeyguy 0 Report post Posted June 14, 2005 Heard a rumor...Apparently Jackson has sold his house in Neverland and pretty soon actually is planning to "go into hiding" to "dodge the press coverage etc". I smell bullshit.he is probably going to a country like korea etc. where they have child prostitutes... and yeah we'll be seeing him in court again.

Thats a good point, i never thought about it that way, though I just don't see Jackson's name being cleared from any sort of law suit in the near future....someone out there will find something
