Tell me about it. I just hope the team doesnt move. I have heard reports about that happening. Do you guys think that would happen?

I hope to god they don't. I wouldn't have a team to cheer for anymore, and god knows im not gonna cheer for the capitals (im from DC) or any of the Western Conference teams.

They were 6th in the league in attendance last season, and they have been in the playoffs every year for a long time. I can't see a successful team like this moving.

I'd be suprised if they moved as mentioned they always make the playoffs and have good attendence

Laurie (the Blues owner) is mostly complaining about the taxes that the City of St. Louis is putting on ticket sales here. Claims they are the worst in the league (I don't know either way).

I guess he was waiting to see if his team and the NHL would be worth anything at all (to him). Now that there will be a season, he is selling.

Too bad hockey does not have the same fan base as football. Seems like the good folks of St. Louis could buy the team ala Green Bay (Packers).
