Mission L7 Skates

Recommended Posts

JR, my bauer XV's hurt me real bad in the arch's and since your saying the L series is more "traditional" and has a higher arch do you think the L's would hurt my feet like the bauers did? If so looks like im sticking with the s500's (no pain at all). I just wish my S's were a lil stiffer and lighter like the L's. thanks!!

Stay with your 500's. Why change if you enjoy how they fit?

I explained that in the last sentence. I just wish my s500's were a bit stiffer, and a bit lighter. From what Ive heard the L's offer these two things compared to the S's. But If the L's dont fit the same as S's theres no way im gona sacrifice fit for a cupple extra grams.

S500s are very comfortable on my feet but L7s hurt like hell, they do not feel the same at all.

In terms of stiffness, how do the L-5's compare to the S500s? Yes, they are a different height with the 500s being lower.

I don't want to start a seperate thread, but if the L-7's are comparible to the Bauer XXXs, and the Vector Pros, then how do the L-5's compare to other skates? Comparible skates such as the Bauer XIX, XX, Vector 7.0, Easton 1100's, and the Mission S500's.

If a person wanted a lighter skate than the S500, but not as stiff as the L-7, and the Bauer XXXs, and Vector Pros of the world then how would the L-5 compare?

The L5 fits nothing like an S500. The L5 is still just as tall and nearly as stiff as the L7 but nowhere near as supple as the S Series. The L5 is most like a XIX.
