Reebok p32 Pronger curve

Recommended Posts

Lecavalier = Easton Lidstrom but BEWARE - the lies do not match up!! The curve is the same but I always use Easton Lidstrom and the Vector OPS with Lecavalier curve did not match up on the lie. I knew right away when I was on the ice. The Vector lie was even lower than Easton lie. I like the stick blade flat close to my body and the Vector was too far away from me when lieing flat on the ice.

lecavalier is a straight heel curve almost exactly like the drury, only with a very square toe. that square toe makes it look like a lidstrom - but they really arent the same at all, the lidstrom starts turning at the heel and keeps going throughout the blade, the vinny bends at the heel and is straight and open the rest of the way. ive seen the pronger and it is basically a drury though i havent checked the lie or to see if the degree of openness is the same - to look at it though....its a drury.

Cavs is dead on. I was checking the P32 today. Even the blade has a bit of a rocker bottom, not nice and flat the way my Liddy is.

I checked out the shanny/coffey/thornton comparison today at the shop. The shanny curve almost flares open a bit too at the toe. I was looking at them closely today with Thornton and Coffeys. Shanny z-carbon, though, not shanny lami or pro(wood blades). Also, some Coffeys are not as long as Shanny or Thorts.

wow that is nothing like what i used under the pronger tag. mine was at a demo at a camp i was at with a couple ccm and reebok guys but the curve was definately not that huge and the toe wasnt totally square but it wasnt round like a drury or anything, but it wasnt that much of a hook either the whole curve was totally different it looked more like a toned down drury with a kinda square toe and a little less loft. im not sure tho maybe its the angle of that pic i dunno.

rbk probably based their curves on CCM (since they are now the same company) but changed them, so people would buy their sticks because they are different, and to try new curves, or they just thought it was about time to put a round toe Liddy out there.
