I wouldn't be surprised if Anaheim went out on a limb and took him #2. Bobby is VERY well known in these parts.

If Anaheim passes on Johnson at #2, they're insane.

People were excited about Recchi, Mario, Malkin from what I gathered, throw in this Crosby kid, and if they keep Fleury up in the bigs all season.. watch out, that building will be rockin' the foundation.

Make that 2 first overalls, and one 2nd overall ;)

Anyway, hopefully they figure out that their D aren't good enough for the AHL and get that problem sorted out, they have a hell of a 1st/2nd line now

Did you mean two first overall's and one second overall? Malkin was picked in the first round after Ovechkin.

The penguins are actually REALLY deep. Remember, this is a team that was one of the hottest going into the end of 03-04, and since then their now number one prospect class has had yet another year to mature. Another good showing in the calder cup playoffs, another good year from their college and junior players. Crosby/Fleury/Malkin will be spearheading things, but they're not alone.

Two things that could be a problem for the Pens is if Fleury proves that he isn't quite ready to become a full time goalie I don't think Sebastian Coron and JS Aubin - UFA? are NHL calibre goalies and a defence that isn't that great.

Lots of prospects, none of whom have excelled at the NHL level. It will be interesting.

Aubin is a Leaf now, or was to end off last AHL season at least. Cheeoto will probably be the back-up. If not and MA struggles, they'll pull Cheo up from the farm and then he'll start.

I agree with that, but all I'm saying is that the Canucks are probably feeling some pressure to take him when their turn comes.

I don't think so he doesn't anywhere near here and other then people who watched the top prospects game most fans out here don't even know who he is. McCardle isn't a top 10 pick.

What about Roussin? Florida failed to sign him and when they got a deal done it was three minutes late so he's going back into the draft Saturday. Any ideas on where and when he'll go?

Syvret is going to go early-second round. I think THN had him around prospect 35?
