Bauer Vapor XIX

I saw this skate on the Bauer website. Does anyone know anything about it (specifically the quality as it compares to other skates on the market)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's the 2005 Version of the Vapor XV Skate, very similair but now has the black fade to grey and LS2's.. There 1 step down from the XXX and are comparable to say the Flex light 10, in terms of grade.. IMO, i had a pair of XV before i got my XX's and if you are willing to save a little dough, there really is not alot of difference..

You are correct, almost identical to the XV except for the painjob and the LS2.

Nice skate if you can't afford the XXX.

We retail them for a bit over $300. Excellent skate for the money. They have been selling well in the shop. The XXX is quite a bit more in $$ so if you haven't saved up enough, you really won't go wrong with XIX.

JR, I can understand BNH keeping XX in the catalog(Senior only) but if I'm buying new skates, I will definitely spend the extra $ for XXX. Just seemed kind of silly to keep it in the line. They should be on the close-out list September 1st!
