maybe it just slow because is was copied into a video mode. still i think it looks good and i am excittd to play it. I think to that the date it is out hasnt been chnaged i just tihnk they just havent picked a date.

for the past 3 years, ea has been garbage, i've been forced to the 2k series, hopefully they get really better or i will be on 2k again

I feel the same way. The 2k series is better than the Ea series but Im still not happy with either.

The game will be released in September when hockey season begins. I don't know where August came from. All of that framerate and water bottle stuff happened because the videos were made while the game was still alpha. It won't be like that in the final game. The gameplay is definately the best in the EA series. I don't know who said the commentary was boring but the sample variety has had a major boost. None of the prior EA or any of the ESPN/989 hockey games compare to the audio this year.

Just wait another month for it to come out. I think everybody will be very pleased with the game.

Thanks Kobe. I hope the framerate issues are just what you say. My 2005 had a terrible issue with "hiccuping" right before a goal, as if the game was deciding if it was a goal or not(especially 5 hole).

I'll still but both games. 2k6 for the xbox and 06 for the PS2. I'm wanting this game to be all that's it supposed to be.

Has any one else noticed in the lacavalier video that before he taske the penalty shot he is holding his stick right handed then during the penalty shot he changes to left. I have also noticed this in other videos for the game.

Yeah I've noticed that a lot in hockey games. In 2k5 if you play as the Avs and you watch the warm ups, they have Forsberg warming up righthanded.

Also, in the EA games, if you have a right handed-catching goalie, he will be holding the stick with the correct hand, but he's holding his stick with his glove, not his blocker.

Will there be a "my career" type of mode where you build your player, maybe play in the AHL then either enter the draft, or already be drafted and try to make the cut. Maybe it's just me, but I really like those types of things. I am working on getting MLB 06 back because I liked that part and I just got Madden today.

It says on the EA Sports Web site that u can create-a-player And customize his helmet, skates, stick and gloves with brands like CCM, Jofa, Nike, Bauer, Itech, Mission, Easton, Lousiville, Koho and Sher-Wood. But i dont know if this means u can customize other players gear or change it hopefully though

Chances are the gloves wont be all the same. Its just a video from the games early stages in development. Its not polished yet.
