Do AHL teams do this? I no my local USHL team does.

The Monarchs did...by the time I got there, all the meat was gone and all they had was crappy crumbs I didnt even bother with. Except the 8000..but it was a medium :(

My local AHL team is constantly selling things to people who now the right people. They helped put the shop down the street from the team out of business. There were plenty of other reasons they went out of business but the team has sold brand new equipment to a very large number of people.

Awsome. Because we dont have a lhs here(Omaha, NE). It is going of buisness. The closest thing we have is Scheels, and that just doesnt cut it for all aspects of competative hockey. The USHL team has a sale once a year but most of the stuff is old, crappy, overpriced and bottom line not worth it. Im hopeing I can get some stuff from the Knights(ahl).I think our team will practise on there ice so maybe i can snag some sticks n stuff. Do most ahl teams have booths at the games were you can buy game used equipment? I know they did at the nhl games Ive been to(blues) .

According to what I read about the THC-AHL deal, sticks have to be returned before replacements are issued. That said, I saw 15-20 kids with AHL models before halloween.

They were at one time, they faded badly over the last few years. They were notorious for putting people in skates that weren't even close to the correct size, including me when I started playing.

I used to get my skates from Kenny Smith`s Sharp Edge down in Mount Joy, he got me a pair of pro custom 652`s that were a EE width thru the CCM rep that serviced the Bears, back when the only width you could get over the counter was a D. I still get bummed out every time I drive past where the old store was (it`s a library now). The stand alone hockey shop are few and far between now, which is a shame..........

If that is what they have to do then how come you saw 15-20 kids with AHL modles before holloween?

Where they replacements or what?

I am abit confused with your post.

I don't say this often, but you're an idiot.

They got them from the team despite the fact the team isn't supposed to sell them (brand new) to the public.
