how is the duribility of the grip lite and how long does the grip last?

I had a junior griplite about 3 years ago. I lasted awesom for me,no durablity problems at all. The grip never peeled one bit. Although that was the old grip and the new easton grip tends to peel so i can't comment on the newer models.

My understanding was that the Gripite would stick with the milky grip of '02.

Friend on my team had one for a year. Everything's fine with it but he doesn't use it anymore because he got a Response. Also the blade is loose.

The Griplite is the best shaft Easton has, IMO. It's gone to a really tacky grip like all of their grip sticks have. Durability-wise it can't be beat.

if this is the best shaft Easton has, how does it stack up against the ultralite?

It's a UL with a grip coating...hence Grip Lite.

I used them for two years and loved them They are the best shaft I've ever used but unfortunatly they tore up my gloves and had to stop using it. The places around here charge a fortune for a half-assed job of repalming.

My friend had a grip lite, its a very nice shaft and it does have good durbility. he used it for a year and then it broke on him.

I had one, used it once then it broke. Received the warranty replacement and it lasted 2.5 years until it was stolen awhile back. Never had a problem with the grip peeling one bit.

I guess Im the only one thats had grip problems. It peeled in about 2 months. As for duribility, I got it 3 years ago and I still have it today in usuable condition. The only reason I dont use it is because its a junior. Now I use it for road hockey.
