Fused Inno 1100 Question

Recommended Posts

Searched for this but did not find it...

I have a pro stock Inno 1100 fused OPS with a broken blade which I'd like to convert into a blade / shaft combo. Anybody have any experience with where to cut? Can I cut where the broken blade enters the shaft and somehow chisel out the rest of the blade? Or do I have to cut until it's hollow and lose some length? If it's the second way, can I fit a tapered blade or will it have to be standard? Finally, any idea if I'll notice a significant change in feel / performance vs. the fused stick?

Thanks for any thoughts.

The white one is the novious but I dont know about a new 1100.

It`s better to cut at the fuse point and chisel out, you retain more of the taper and it is stornger becasue you haven`t cut the shaft.

when i broke the blade on my 1100 ops i tryed to heat up the fuse point...it didn't work at all for me. when i cut just above the innovative symbol it was like 3/8'' from where the fused blade ended.it was perfect for a taperd blade

The white Novius is the Novius soft grip, for this year, there were red soft grip Novius shafts last year. The shafts are red, and OPS(fused) are blue.
